Equine 808 Horse Rescue

Our Mission: As horses are not indigenous to Hawaii and having a great love of horses, we feel it is our civic duty to provide a sanctuary for injured, abused, neglected, and unwanted horses by offering emergency relief, refuge, medical care, rehabilitation and adoption services and to provide education  in the arenas of proper horse ownership, responsibility, health and care and to provide a community connection to all.

 

Equine 808 Horse Rescue has been in operation since 2008 however, the Director, Betina Parker has been rescuing horses since 2007.  Its through her dedication and those that support her, family, friends and volunteers that makes this possible. 

Betina Parker, President: the President shall have general charge and supervision of the Corporation.

Athena Tacoronte, Executive Officer: In the absence of  the President, the EO shall, in the order designated by the Board of Directors, perform all of the duties of the President.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cleveland Tadiarca, Director of Facilities: Shall insure the facilities are in compliance with all state codes and shall oversee all events on the property.

Daniela Conway, Secretary: The Secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors.

Serina Krisjuhan, Director of Finance: The DOFi shall be the chief financial officer of the Corporation and exercise general supervision over the receipt, custody and disbursement of funds.
