Equine 808 Horse Rescue was created because of
my love for horses and the industry.
As some of you are already aware
that I rescued an ex-race horse in January 2007. Some of you may
even remember how skinny she was and neglected. After a few
groceries, lots of love, and 1 year later...she is looking and doing
great! So therefore,
I dedicate my passion to my late horse Star and for my
motivation to the horse I rescued "Kentucky's Seven".
Owning a pet is a responsibility that
should not be taken lightly. Neglect to meet a pet’s basic
needs—including food, water, shelter and medical care—is a crime
recognized by an ever-growing number of jurisdictions across the nation.
If you know of an animal whose health is being compromised by neglect,
please report it.
Equine 808 Horse Rescue has no legal authority to investigate or
intervene in animal abuse cases. Please contact the animal control
authority or sheriff’s department to report suspected neglect or abuse.
